Debby's self-published book is a celebration of social eating and shares friends’ and families’ favourite recipes, all tried and tested under the pressures of entertaining. There are 20 plated recipes including 12 savoury and 8 sweet, and 3 delicious cocktails.
Debby has wanted to create a cookbook for a while, “I’ve always been so grateful for my friends catering as I’m a reluctant chef and this was a great way to repay their generosity”.
The beautiful 152-page book has 28 full colour photographs and 22 illustrations created by Ruth Ferrier. Recipes include pastel-coloured lamingtons, mackerel with pink rhubarb and heart-warming chicken shawarma.
